Cooking Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine white rice and water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-18 minutes.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking dish with butter.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
  4. Stir the cooked rice into the custard mixture and pour it into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden.
  6. Let the pudding rest for 15 minutes before serving warm or chilled, garnished with cinnamon or whipped cream.
