Cook the whole wheat pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Stir in the shredded chicken, spinach, and cherry tomatoes. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the spinach wilts and the tomatoes soften.
Reduce the heat to low and add the cooked pasta to the skillet.
In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
Pour the cheese mixture over the pasta and chicken mixture, stirring gently to combine and heat through for about 2-3 minutes.
Serve warm, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
