  • 8 oz crab meat imitation or canned lump crab meat
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Greek yogurt can be a lighter alternative
  • 1/2 cup sour cream can be swapped with Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic freshly minced
  • 2 whole green onions chopped finely
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce gluten-free for those avoiding gluten
  • 1 tbsp sugar to taste
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded, reserve half for topping
  • 1 tbsp Thai sweet chili sauce optional drizzle
  • 1 pkg wonton wraps cut into triangles for chips
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Soften the cream cheese in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese with mayonnaise, sour cream, minced garlic, crab meat, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sugar, and shredded mozzarella.
  4. Transfer the mixture into an oven-safe baking dish and sprinkle reserved mozzarella on top.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  6. While baking, prepare wonton chips by cutting wrappers into triangles and frying in heated oil until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with Thai sweet chili sauce and sliced green onions alongside crispy wonton chips.
