Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice half a medium head of cabbage into long, thin strips.
  3. Toss the sliced cabbage with olive oil and salt in a large bowl.
  4. Spread the cabbage in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast for 10-15 minutes.
  5. In a skillet, heat and cook the chopped bacon for about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, then add minced garlic for another 30 seconds.
  7. Pour in the heavy cream, add Parmesan cheese and black pepper, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Toss the roasted cabbage into the skillet with the sauce and stir gently.
  9. Transfer to serving plates, garnish with extra Parmesan and black pepper.
