- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice half a medium head of cabbage into long, thin strips.
- Toss the sliced cabbage with olive oil and salt in a large bowl.
- Spread the cabbage in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast for 10-15 minutes.
- In a skillet, heat and cook the chopped bacon for about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, then add minced garlic for another 30 seconds.
- Pour in the heavy cream, add Parmesan cheese and black pepper, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Toss the roasted cabbage into the skillet with the sauce and stir gently.
- Transfer to serving plates, garnish with extra Parmesan and black pepper.
