Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Gather all necessary ingredients for the creamy avocado grilled cheese.
  2. Halve the avocado, remove the pit, and mash it in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the mashed avocado.
  4. Heat a frying pan over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
  5. Butter one side of each slice of bread evenly.
  6. Place one slice of bread on the pan, buttered side down, and add cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Butter the other slice of bread and place it on top, buttered side up.
  8. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom slice is golden brown and crispy.
  9. Flip the sandwich carefully and cook for another 3-4 minutes until golden brown and cheese has melted.
  10. Spread the seasoned mashed avocado over one half of the sandwich.
  11. Top with the other half of the sandwich and slice if desired. Serve immediately.
