Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease or line a mini muffin tin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut each triangle in half.
  4. Press each dough piece into the bottom and up the sides of the muffin tin.
  5. Spoon approximately 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture into each prepared cup.
  6. Top each cup with approximately 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
  7. Sprinkle with optional chopped pecans or orange zest if desired.
  8. Bake for 11-13 minutes, until the cups are golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm on a platter.
