Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. On a lightly floured surface, unroll the thawed puff pastry, smoothing out any creases.
  3. Spread the cranberry sauce evenly over the puff pastry, leaving about a half-inch border. Layer the thinly sliced brie on top and sprinkle fresh thyme leaves across the cheese.
  4. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice the pastry into eight equal strips.
  5. Fold each strip in half lengthwise, encasing the filling. Gently twist each strip and pinch the ends to seal securely.
  6. Arrange the twists on the prepared baking sheet, brush the tops with the beaten egg, and bake for 18–22 minutes or until puffy and golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven, drizzle with honey if desired, allow to cool slightly, then serve warm.
