Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cut a ripe, seedless watermelon into manageable chunks, aiming for about 5 cups. Blend on high for about 30-45 seconds until smooth.
  2. Optionally strain the blended watermelon through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl, pressing down on the pulp to extract liquid.
  3. Add fresh lime juice to the mixture, adjusting to taste. If watermelon isn’t perfectly ripe, add honey or maple syrup and blend for 10-15 seconds.
  4. Pour in 1-2 cups of cold or sparkling water, stir or blend briefly to incorporate, and adjust flavors as needed.
  5. Serve over ice in prepared glasses. Garnish with fresh mint or a slice of lime.
  6. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to a day in an airtight pitcher. Stir before serving again.
