  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrots.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard, celery seed, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots, and toss until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Before serving, give the coleslaw a good stir and adjust seasoning if necessary.
