  • 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips Feel free to swap with milk or white chocolate for a different experience.
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil Optional, helps create a smoother chocolate coating.
For the Finish
  • 1/2 cup Crushed Nuts Choose your favorite nuts to enhance flavor and texture.
  • 1/4 cup Festive Sprinkles Optional, but they make each bite visually appealing.
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt Lightly sprinkling on top elevates the flavor balance.

Equipment

  • microwave-safe bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Fork
  • Sharp knife

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Open the can of jellied cranberry sauce and carefully slice it into ½ inch thick discs using a sharp knife. Arrange the slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  2. Pop the baking sheet with the cranberry slices into the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Heat at 50% power for 1-minute intervals, stirring until fully melted.
  4. Remove the chilled cranberry slices from the freezer one at a time and dip each slice into the melted chocolate. Return coated slices to the baking sheet.
  5. Return the baking sheet to the freezer for an additional 30 minutes to set the chocolate. Transfer bites to an airtight container for storage.
