Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package 8 ounces refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Place about 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Sprinkle a little mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken mixture.
  4. Roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end, and place them seam-side down on a greased baking sheet.
  5. Bake the chicken pillows in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. While the chicken pillows are baking, prepare the creamy Parmesan sauce. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Once the chicken pillows are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve warm, drizzled with the creamy Parmesan sauce.

Notes

  • For a twist, try adding chopped spinach or artichokes to the chicken mixture for extra flavor and nutrition.
  • You can also substitute the heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
