Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place about ½ teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture and 1–2 teaspoons of cherry pie filling on each triangle.
  5. Fold the dough over the filling, pinch edges to seal, and crimp with a fork if desired.
  6. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle coarse sugar if using.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
