Step-by-Step Instructions for Cherry Chia Pudding
- In a small blender, combine 1/2 cup of frozen cherries, 1/2 cup of dairy-free milk, 2 teaspoons of maple syrup, and 1/8 teaspoon of almond extract. Blend on high until smooth and creamy, about 30 seconds.
- Pour the smooth cherry mixture into a glass jar or container, and then add 3 tablespoons of chia seeds. Stir thoroughly.
- Allow the mixture to sit for 10 minutes at room temperature.
- Cover the container and place it in the refrigerator overnight, or for at least 3 hours.
- When ready to serve, stir the pudding and adjust sweetness with more maple syrup if desired. Top with fresh fruit, nuts, or granola.
