For the Dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour can substitute with bread flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast ensure it’s fresh
  • 1 cup warm milk should be warm, not hot
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • ¼ cup warm water
  • 1 large egg adds richness
For the Filling
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped)

Preparation Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Mix well.
  2. Create a well in the center and pour in warm milk, melted butter, warm water, and egg. Blend until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Form the kneaded dough into a ball and place in a greased bowl. Cover and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Mix garlic, softened butter, and chopped parsley in a small bowl for the filling.
  6. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  7. Roll the risen dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
  8. Spread the garlic butter mixture on the rolled dough, sprinkle cheeses evenly, and roll into a log. Cut into 12 portions.
  9. Place each piece in the muffin cups vertically and let them rise for another 20 minutes.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbling. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
