Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Place the bacon slices on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until crispy.
  3. While the bacon is baking, heat a skillet over medium heat and season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  4. Transfer the crispy bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.
  5. Slice the chicken into thin strips against the grain.
  6. On a clean baking sheet, lay out 4 slices of bread and layer with chicken strips, crispy bacon, and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  7. Drizzle ranch dressing over the cheese and add any optional ingredients.
