Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Layer caramelized onions and garlic in the slow cooker, place brisket on top, and pour glaze mixture over it.
  4. Cook on low for 8-10 hours in the slow cooker or bake covered at 300°F for 3-4 hours in a Dutch oven.
  5. Let brisket rest for 20 minutes before shredding with forks, mixing some cooking liquid back in for moisture.
