Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces linguine pasta
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Method
 

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and season with smoked paprika, onion powder, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
  4. Stir in the cooked linguine and reserved pasta water, mixing well to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley, grated Parmesan cheese, and lemon juice. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley and Parmesan if desired.
