  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup chopped fresh herbs e.g. parsley, dill, or cilantro
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
Fish Fillets
  • 4 fillets fish e.g. cod, tilapia, or salmon
For Serving
  • 1 each lemon for squeezing over the fish

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it.
  2. Pat the fish fillets dry gently with paper towels and arrange them on the baking sheet.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, chopped fresh herbs, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese (if using), olive oil, salt, and pepper. Stir thoroughly.
  4. Evenly distribute the herb mixture over the fish fillets, pressing gently to adhere the crust.
  5. Bake the fish fillets for about 15-20 minutes, or until they become opaque and flake easily with a fork.
  6. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fillets immediately after removing them from the oven.
  7. Allow the fish to rest for a few minutes before serving hot with your favorite side dishes.
