Steps for Baking Brownies
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
  2. Melt 1/2 cup of butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and whisk in 1 cup of cocoa powder and 1 cup of sugar until smooth.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add 4 room-temperature eggs one at a time, whisking until incorporated.
  4. Stir in 1/2 cup of Bailey’s Irish Cream Liqueur and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Fold in 1 cup of all-purpose flour gently using a spatula until no streaks remain.
  6. If desired, fold in 1/2 cup of chocolate chips evenly.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes and check for doneness using a toothpick.
