- In a large mixing bowl, combine 3¾ cups of all-purpose flour with 1½ teaspoons of baking soda. Create a well in the center of the flour and pour in 2 cups of buttermilk, stirring gently until it just comes together.
- Transfer the shaggy dough onto a floured surface. Gently fold the edges into the center about 4-5 times, aiming to shape it into a round loaf.
