  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, Sriracha sauce, lime juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the shrimp are well coated. Let marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat.
  3. While the shrimp are cooking, warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave until pliable.
  4. To assemble the tacos, place a few shrimp on each tortilla, then top with shredded cabbage, avocado slices, and chopped cilantro.
  5. Serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos.

Notes

  • For added crunch, consider adding diced radishes or pickled onions as a topping.
  • If you prefer a milder flavor, reduce the amount of Sriracha or substitute it with a milder hot sauce.
