Ingredients
Scale
2 pounds chicken wings, split and tips removed
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet to allow air circulation around the wings.
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Toss until the wings are evenly coated with the seasoning.
Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack, ensuring they are not touching each other. This will help them get crispy.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
Once done, remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra crispiness, you can broil the wings for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of baking.
Try adding different spices like smoked paprika or a dash of lemon pepper for a unique flavor twist.
