- 2 cups chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 1/4 cup chocolate syrup (for drizzling)
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined and smooth.
- In a separate bowl, beat together the powdered sugar, peanut butter, and softened butter until creamy and fluffy.
- Pour half of the chocolate cake batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture over the chocolate batter, then pour the remaining chocolate batter on top.
- Use a knife to swirl the peanut butter mixture into the chocolate batter gently.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips, chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and pecans (if using) evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool for about 15 minutes. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top before serving.
