1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/4 cup honey
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, cornstarch, and water until smooth. Set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
Pour the honey garlic sauce over the cooked shrimp and stir to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
