A delicious and sweet side dish made with fresh corn, honey, and butter, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cups fresh corn kernels (about 6 ears of corn)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Once the butter is melted, stir in the honey until well combined.
  3. Add the fresh corn kernels to the skillet and stir to coat them in the honey-butter mixture.
  4. Season with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika (if using).
  5. Cook the corn for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is tender and slightly caramelized.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or diced jalapeños.
  • You can substitute frozen corn for fresh corn; just reduce the cooking time to about 3-4 minutes.
