Grilled Citrus Chicken with Citrus Glaze tantalizes taste buds with its zesty and flavorful marinade, perfect for a summer barbecue.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 pounds)
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Zest of 1 lime

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the orange juice, lemon juice, lime juice, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, oregano, paprika, and the citrus zests until well combined.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  4. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
  • Serve the grilled chicken over a bed of mixed greens or with a side of grilled vegetables for a complete meal.
