2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
1 cup fresh basil leaves
1/4 cup balsamic glaze
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a large serving bowl, layer the sliced strawberries and mozzarella cheese alternately.
Tuck fresh basil leaves in between the layers of strawberries and mozzarella.
Drizzle the balsamic glaze and olive oil over the salad.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Gently toss the salad to combine all ingredients, being careful not to break the mozzarella.
Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes to enhance the flavors.
